ELDREDGE TRADING
History

Eldredge Trading, Inc. was formed in 1989 to serve as a vehicle for the purpose of developing manufacturing, importing and business opportunities in the area of international trade and development.  Over the course of its twenty year history Eldredge Trading has invested in a series of businesses and manufactured product lines with the common objective of developing markets and improved manufacturing efficiencies.

In the early and mid-1990s, Eldredge Trading invested in an Indian-based company designed to develop, manufacture and sell water purification products to the Indian consumer and industrial markets.  Through this venture Eldredge Trading established a series of relationships with a number of industrial and textile manufacturing companies.  Initially these relationships were designed to promote the development of water distribution products, but Eldredge Trading also discovered the great efficiencies many of these organizations provided with respect to products and services that appealed to consumers in the United States.  This led Eldredge Trading to establish a business unit engaged in exporting textile products from India, and later China, for sale to businesses in United States and another business unit designed to assist American businesses in finding affordable and profitable manufacturing sources for a variety of products.  Since then Eldredge Trading has developed and continues to sell products in diverse markets such as high-visibility and industrial safety wear, corporate and work apparel and sportswear.  In addition, through its product manufacturing and sourcing division Eldredge Trading has assisted a number of clients, including Arctic Cat, General Electric, Wolf Appliance and Sub Zero, in manufacturing products for export to the United States from India and China.
